Stuck in the House This Weekend: This Dick Cavett Interview Series on Youtube is Amazing

With most St. Paddy's Day events cancelled and no basketball to watch, most of us will be looking for something to do this weekend. It would be a great time to check out the Dick Cavett interview series on Youtube. For those who don't remember, the Dick Cavett Show, ran from 1968 into the 1980s, and Cavett was known for his ability to put his famous guests at ease and get them to discuss the important and interesting topics that defined the era. Here are 5 examples:

1. Ronald Reagan on his worst movie.

2. Orson Welles on crossing paths with Hitler. Welles was always a marvelous guest with funny, interesting, and compelling stories to tell.

3. Jimi Hendrix talking about performing at Woodstock.

4. Janis Joplin's last interview.

5. John Lennon on why The Beatles broke up.

6. John Kerry discussing his experiences in Vietnam.

And, so much more from Marlon Brando, David Bowie, Salvador Dali, Alfred Hitchcock, all the Fondas, President Gerald Ford, Katharine Hepburn, Hugh Hefner, and Robin Williams.

Cavett was an extremely talented interviewer and this series is wildly entertaining.

Enjoy your St. Paddy's Day weekend!
