Republicans in Georgia are About to Send a QAnon Kook to Congress

We have written about QAnon before, and it's disheartening to have to even mention it again, but it's becoming more mainstream within the Republican Party. Republicans in Washington state nominated a QAnon follower for the US Senate recently, and the GOP is poised to get one elected to the House from Georgia's 14th congressional district. Their candidate, Marjorie Taylor Greene, won the primary this week and is expected to win this very Republican district in November.
Ms. Greene is a vocal supporter of Donald Trump and QAnon. She has also posted photos of herself posing with Chester Doles, a former Ku Klux Klan leader who supports her candidacy and hailed her as "part of the Q [QAnon] movement."
QAnon is a wondrously stupid conspiracy theory concocted to see how many ignorant and gullible people there are in the United States.
AP: "QAnon is a right-wing conspiracy theory centered on the baseless belief that Trump is waging a secret campaign against enemies in the “deep state” and a child sex trafficking ring run by satanic pedophiles and cannibals."
QAnon is childish lunacy, but it seems to be spreading like a cancer in the GOP and some of its followers are more than a bit creepy, and apparently a few are dangerous.
Daily Beast: "QAnon believers have been charged with two murders, a terrorist incident, and two child abduction plots related to their beliefs, among other crimes. The FBI considers QAnon a potential source of domestic terrorism."
