Fox News Crosses Ethical Lines & Becomes Major Financial Sponsor of CPAC

Fox News should probably just give up trying to convince anyone that it's "Fair and Balanced" and change its name to the Republican News Network. The network contributed $250,000 to the annual Conservative Political Action Conference [CPAC] held last weekend in Orlando, and one of its supposedly unbiased news hosts, Pete Hegseth, spoke at the event.
Washington Post: “This is far from the first time that Fox News has crossed ethical lines. But following its obvious conflicts at CPAC, viewers of Fox News may have a difficult time differentiating what’s news and what’s paid political propaganda,” said Danielle McLean, the ethics committee chair for the Society of Professional Journalists. It “creates an obvious conflict of interest for its reporters and anchors who are assigned [to cover] the Republican Party, or for that matter, U.S. politics.”
The growing competition from Newsmax may be forcing Fox to abandon all pretensions of nonpartisanship as it fights to retain Trump supporters in its audience.
