90,000 Completely Preventable Deaths

A Kaiser Family Foundation (KFF) study released this week found that at least 90,000 COVID-19 deaths could have been prevented since June had the victims taken the vaccines that were widely available. Most of the preventable fatalities, about 49,000, occurred last month as the more dangerous delta variant ravaged the U.S.
To provide some perspective, that's more Americans than died as the result of 9/11, the Vietnam War, and the various War on Terror conflicts combined.
These folks have died as the result of lies, conspiracy theories, and their loyalty to a failed and disgraced former president. And those individuals that have undermined the advice of the Biden administration and public health professionals are, in large part, responsible for these deaths. I suspect that few of them will feel guilt or remorse.
