National Geographic Maintains a Running List of Trump's War on the Environment
National Geographic maintains a list of the Trump administration's attacks on the environment and science funding. Many of their actions didn't make headlines, but represnted small steps in their campaign to slash regulations designed to combat climate change, protect endangered species and reduce air and water pollution.
National Geographic: "The Trump Administration’s tumultuous presidency has brought a flurry of changes—both realized and anticipated—to U.S. environmental policy. Many of the actions roll back Obama-era policies that aimed to curb climate change and limit environmental pollution, while others threaten to limit federal funding for science and the environment."
Trump administration officials have focused their attacks on executive branch regulatory agencies, especially the Environmental Protection Agency [EPA]. They determined quickly that the easiest way to undermine environmental regulations was to simply stop enforcing them.
National Geographic: "A report by the nonprofit Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility (PEER) found the Environmental Protection Agency's criminal prosecutions under the Trump administration have been the lowest they've been in 30 years." ...
"Environmental groups say not enforcing violations is a subtle way for the agency to scale back the EPA without passing large policy changes."
The list tracks the constant drumbeat of attacks on the environment.

What shocks you about the list is the realization that if Trump could do this much damage in just over two years, image what he could do in eight.
