Younger Americans Much Less Religious
Polling conducted in December by the polling firm YouGov shows that younger Americans are much less religious than their parents or grandparents. While this trend has been noted before, YouGov's results show a more dramatic decline than many earlier polls. A majority of those 18-24 and 25-34 are not religious, and those 35-44 are evenly divided. On the other hand, two-thirds of those over 55 say they are religious.
