Trump Tweets about the Trans-Pacific Partnership Trade Deal...but doesn't seem to know which nat
President Trump tweeted this last night referring to reports that he is considering joining the Trans-Pacific Partnership:
"While Japan and South Korea would like us to go back into TPP, I don’t like the deal for the United States. Too many contingencies and no way to get out if it doesn’t work. Bilateral deals are far more efficient, profitable and better for OUR workers. Look how bad WTO is to U.S."
The only problem is that South Korea is not part of the TPP. So, did he just make this up? Did he just mention the first Asian nations that came to mind? Does it even cross his mind that he might want to have such tweets vetted by someone with foreign policy experience?
