As We All Await the Contents of the Mueller Report, Check Out the Woodstock 50 Line-up

It's unclear when we will ever get to see the results of the Mueller Investigation, but Donald Trump is likely to declare that he has been vindicated no matter what the report says. We will probably get an overview this weekend and leaks from the report are inevitable.

In any case, Mueller's findings are really just the beginning of the investigation as his work has spawned numerous new Trump inquires around the country. Moreover, the Special Counsel has likely provided Congress with breadcrumbs to follow to identify illegal activity that was outside the scope of his inquiry. So, if anything, we are at the end of the beginning of the investigation of the President and his business dealings.

While we await more news on the Mueller report, we should revel in what is shaping up to be a fabulous music festival this summer, Woodstock 50. It will be held in Watkins Glen, NY on August 16-18. Tickets will be available on April 22nd.

The organizers released the line-up this week and it's a wonderful mix of original Woodstock performers like Santana, John Sebastian, and John Fogerty, and exciting new acts.

Rolling Stone: "The festival was formally announced by [John] Fogerty, Common and Woodstock co-founder Lang at New York’s Electric Lady Studios on Tuesday evening. Amazingly, it was the first time that Lang had stepped foot in the studio since he was there with Jimi Hendrix a little under 50 years ago. After reflecting back on the original festival with comedy writer Alan Zweibel, Lang explained why he decided to revive the event. “What we’ve assembled here is a combination of some of the great artists from our era and many of the great artists of today and hopefully some of the great artists of tomorrow,” he said. “Many of these artists are committed to social change, have their own issues that they support, but also support these global issues of climate change and Black Lives Matter.”

Here is the line-up:

Day 1: The Killers, Miley Cyrus, Santana, The Lumineers, The Raconteurs, Robert Plant, John Fogerty, Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats, Run the Jewels, The Head and the Heart, Maggie Rogers, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Anderson East, Princess Nokia, John Sebastian

Day 2: Dead and Company, Chance the Rapper, Black Keys, Sturgill Simpson, Greta Van Fleet, Portugal. The Man, Leon Bridges, Gary Clark Jr., Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeroes, Dawes, Margo Price, Country Joe, Rival Sons, Emily King, Soccer Mommy, Taylor Bennett
